Packaging and print design for fashion and luxury.
ANCC Studio designs packaging and print for fashion brands in London: boxes, gift boxes, lookbooks, catalogues and invitations. Each piece is designed from the identity's own guidelines and produced through print partners the studio has worked with for years.
Method
Packaging is designed as part of the brand's identity. Logotype, editorial, packaging and motion are one language, and the wordmark, typography and colour of the identity carry onto the box and the printed page. The studio's designers prepare the artwork and specify each piece with the print partner.
Packaging
Product packaging and luxury gift boxes are specified with the print partner for material, finish and print process, then produced through them. Each piece is designed from the identity's guidelines and checked against them before it goes to print.
Print
Lookbooks and catalogues carry the season's imagery and the identity's editorial layout, and they can use images from the productions ANCC art directs and shoots. Invitations for shows and events are designed in the same language as the rest of the season. Collateral covers the smaller printed pieces a brand sends through the year.
Production
Print runs go through partners the studio has worked with for years. Their production time sits inside the project timeline, which is set back from the date the pieces are needed.
The record
Identity systems on this site that carry through to packaging and print include No Grey Area, Azzopardi and ioannes. A team of designers works on packaging and print alongside Matthew Attard Navarro, founder and creative director and a trained graphic designer.
