Method
Production at ANCC begins from the direction. The creative direction deck sets the references, the cast and the locations, and the producer builds the shoot around it. The production team works to that direction, and one producer stays with each job from the first estimate to delivery.
Studio and location
Shoots take place in London studios chosen for each production and sized to the job. For a location house, the terms are agreed in writing and the space is recced before the shoot. Productions go on location when the cast or the brand needs it.
Crew and cast
An e-commerce crew is a photographer, a videographer, a digital technician, hair, make-up, retouch and edit, with an art director on set. A campaign brings a director of photography, a stylist, a set designer and assistants. Casting runs through the studio's own casting team.
Set, kit and samples
Set design is part of the production, made to the references in the deck. Kit and lighting are chosen with the photographer or director of photography who will use them. Samples and wardrobe are collected and returned by the production team, and the call sheet sets who is on set each day.
After the shoot
Post follows on Creative Constant, the studio's own review platform, from selects to the delivered files. One production can serve the store, the lookbook and social content from a single shot list.
The record
Productions on this site include David Koma's AW25 menswear and womenswear lookbooks, JW Anderson's FW23 content series and Nanushka's FW23 campaign, for which the studio also ran art buying. RIMOWA's SS19 campaign, the Hutch Society SS25 lookbook and Somewhere Good's SS25 series are there too.
